30 Minutes or Less (2011)

“30 Minutes or Less” is a 2011 American action-comedy film directed by Ruben Fleischer and starring Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride, Aziz Ansari, and Nick Swardson. The film follows the story of Nick (Jesse Eisenberg), a pizza delivery guy who is forced by two criminals (Danny McBride and Nick Swardson) to rob a bank within 30 minutes or else a bomb attached to his chest will detonate.

Nick seeks help from his best friend Chet (Aziz Ansari), and together they embark on a wild and dangerous adventure to rob the bank and save Nick’s life. The film is loosely based on a real-life incident in which a pizza delivery driver was forced to rob a bank by two criminals who strapped a bomb to his chest.

“30 Minutes or Less” received mixed reviews from critics but was a commercial success, grossing over $40 million worldwide against a budget of $28 million. The film’s comedic performances, particularly those of Danny McBride and Nick Swardson, were praised by critics.
