Burke & Hare (2010) is a British horror–comedy film starring Simon Pegg, Andy Serkis, and Tom Wilkinson. The film follows two 19th–century Irishmen, William Burke (Pegg) and William Hare (Serkis), who resort to grave–robbing to make money. After Burke and Hare start murdering people to provide fresh corpses for their business, they become infamous for their crimes and eventually come under investigation by the police. The film is a darkly comic take on the infamous Burke and Hare murders, and explores themes of greed and morality.
