Chained (2012)

“Chained” is a psychological horror-thriller film directed by Jennifer Lynch, released in 2012. The film stars Vincent D’Onofrio as Bob, a serial killer who abducts and murders women, and Eamon Farren as Rabbit, a young boy who becomes Bob’s captive and accomplice.

The film begins with Rabbit and his mother being kidnapped by Bob, who murders Rabbit’s mother and forces him to become his personal servant, renaming him “Rabbit” due to his timid nature. Rabbit is forced to clean up after Bob’s murders and dispose of the bodies.

As the years go by, Rabbit becomes desensitized to the violence around him and becomes an unwilling participant in Bob’s murders. However, Rabbit begins to rebel against Bob when he befriends a teenage girl who Bob has also abducted.

The film is a dark exploration of the psychological effects of captivity and the moral dilemma of being forced to participate in evil acts. It received mixed reviews from critics but was praised for the performances of D’Onofrio and Farren.
