“Cop Out“ is a 2010 American buddy cop action comedy film directed by Kevin Smith and starring Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan. The film follows two veteran NYPD detectives, Jimmy Monroe (Willis) and Paul Hodges (Morgan), who are assigned to recover a stolen rare baseball card and, in the process, become embroiled in a series of cases. The film received generally negative reviews from critics, who found the plot formulaic and the jokes to be too crude. The film did manage to find a modest audience with its $55 million gross, but it was still considered to be a box office disappointment.
