Curse of Chucky (2013)

Curse of Chucky is a 2013 supernatural horror film directed by Don Mancini, who also wrote the screenplay and created the character of Chucky. The film is the sixth installment in the Child’s Play franchise and serves as a direct sequel to 1998’s Bride of Chucky.

The story follows Nica (played by Fiona Dourif), a young woman who is confined to a wheelchair and living with her mother in a remote house. When a mysterious package containing a doll named Chucky (voiced by Brad Dourif) arrives at their doorstep, strange and deadly events begin to occur.

Curse of Chucky received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised the film’s return to a more serious tone and the strong performance by Fiona Dourif. The film was also noted for its effective use of suspense and tension, as well as its callbacks to earlier entries in the franchise.
