Fantastic Mr. Fox is a 2009 stop–motion animated comedy film directed by Wes Anderson, based on the novel of the same name by Roald Dahl. The film follows Mr. Fox, voiced by George Clooney, a clever fox who steals food from three local farmers. With the help of his friends, he outwits the farmers, who eventually come up with increasingly clever ways to try and catch him. The film features an all–star voice cast that includes Clooney, Meryl Streep, Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe, and Owen Wilson. Critics praised the film for its visuals, wit, and voice cast, and it received an Academy Award nomination for Best Animated Feature.
