“Father Stu” is an upcoming American biographical drama film directed by Rosalind Ross and starring Mark Wahlberg in the lead role. The film is based on the life of Stuart Long, a boxer-turned-priest who died in 2014 at the age of 50.
The story follows Long (played by Wahlberg), a troubled and rebellious young man who finds redemption and a new sense of purpose after converting to Catholicism and becoming a priest. Despite facing opposition and skepticism from his family and community, Long remains committed to his faith and his mission to help others, even as he struggles with his own personal demons.
