From Paris with Love is an action thriller film directed by Pierre Morel, starring John Travolta, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, and Kasia Smutniak. The film follows James Reece (Meyers), a low–level U.S. Embassy employee in Paris, who is unexpectedly recruited by a CIA agent (Travolta) to join him on a mission to prevent a terrorist attack on the city. The two work together to track down the terrorists and stop the attack, while dealing with their own personal issues along the way. The film was released in 2010 to generally positive reviews, with critics praising the action sequences and Travolta‘s performance.
