Heartbeats is a 2010 Canadian romantic comedy–drama film written and directed by Xavier Dolan, and starring Monia Chokri and Xavier Dolan. It follows two close friends who become attracted to the same mysterious young man. The film was nominated for nine Genie Awards, including Best Picture, and won three awards, including Best Director for Dolan. The film premiered at the 63rd Cannes Film Festival in May 2010.
