“Hello I Must Be Going” is a romantic comedy-drama film released in 2012. The film stars Melanie Lynskey as Amy Minsky, a recently divorced and unemployed woman who moves back in with her parents in Connecticut. While there, she begins an affair with a younger man named Jeremy, played by Christopher Abbott, who is the son of her father’s business associate.
As Amy and Jeremy’s relationship develops, she must confront her own insecurities and figure out what she wants out of life. Meanwhile, she also deals with her disapproving parents and the pressure to find a new job.
