Killing Them Softly (2012)

“Killing Them Softly” is a 2012 American crime thriller film written and directed by Andrew Dominik. The movie stars Brad Pitt, Scoot McNairy, and Ben Mendelsohn.

The film follows the story of two small-time crooks, Frankie (played by Scoot McNairy) and Russell (played by Ben Mendelsohn), who rob a high-stakes card game that is protected by the mob. The robbery causes the local criminal economy to collapse, and a hitman named Jackie Cogan (played by Brad Pitt) is hired to investigate and restore order.
