“Marry Me” is a romantic comedy film directed by Kat Coiro and starring Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, and Sarah Silverman. The film is based on the graphic novel of the same name by Bobby Crosby.
The story follows pop superstar Kat Valdez (played by Jennifer Lopez), who, after discovering that her rock-star fiancé Bastian (played by Maluma) has been cheating on her, decides to marry a stranger in the audience during her concert. The lucky man happens to be Charlie Gilbert (played by Owen Wilson), a divorced math teacher who was brought to the concert by his teenage daughter.
As Kat and Charlie navigate their unlikely relationship, they discover that they have much to learn from each other, and that sometimes the most unexpected love stories can turn out to be the most meaningful.
“Marry Me” is set to be released in 2022 and is expected to offer a mix of comedy, romance, and music. The film marks the second collaboration between Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson, who previously worked together on the 1997 romantic comedy “Anaconda.”
