“Palmer” is a 2021 American drama film directed by Fisher Stevens and starring Justin Timberlake in the title role. The film tells the story of Eddie Palmer, a former high school football star who returns to his hometown after a prison sentence and becomes an unlikely caregiver to a young boy named Sam (played by Ryder Allen).
Sam is a gender-nonconforming child who faces discrimination and bullying at school, but finds acceptance and friendship with Palmer. As the two form a bond, Palmer learns to confront his own prejudices and find redemption in his relationship with Sam.
