Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode III is a 2010 episode of Robot Chicken that parodies the Star Wars franchise. The special aired on Cartoon Network‘s Adult Swim block on December 19, 2010. The special was written by Tom Root and Douglas Goldstein, and directed by Chris McKay. The special featured the voices of Seth Green, Breckin Meyer, Seth MacFarlane, and Abraham Benrubi. The episode features various sketches and parodies of the original Star Wars trilogy and the prequels. It was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Animated Program (for Programming Less Than One Hour) in 2011.
