“S.W.A.T.: Firefight” is a 2011 action-thriller movie directed by Benny Boom and starring Gabriel Macht, Robert Patrick, Carly Pope, and Giancarlo Esposito.

The plot follows expert LAPD SWAT officer Paul Cutler (Macht), who is transferred to Detroit to train the city’s SWAT team. As Cutler trains the team, he discovers corruption within the department and becomes involved in a deadly game of cat and mouse with a mysterious figure known only as “The Scorpion.”

Although “S.W.A.T.: Firefight” received mixed reviews, it was praised for its well-choreographed action scenes and the performances of the lead actors. The movie was released straight-to-DVD and was a moderate commercial success.
