Sex and the City 2 is a 2010 romantic comedy film based on the HBO television series of the same name. It is the sequel to the 2008 film Sex and the City, and features Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon, Kristin Davis, and Kim Cattrall reprising their roles as friends and New York City residents Carrie Bradshaw, Miranda Hobbes, Charlotte York, and Samantha Jones, respectively. The film follows the four women as they take a vacation to Abu Dhabi, encountering new experiences and old flames along the way.
The film received generally negative reviews from critics, who felt it was too superficial and poorly written. It was also a box office bomb, earning less than half of its production budget.
