Stone is a 2010 American crime thriller film written and directed by John Curran. The film stars Robert De Niro, Edward Norton and Milla Jovovich. It tells the story of an ex–convict, Jack Mabry (De Niro), who is asked by his parole officer, Warden Chance (Norton) to help him with an investigation into the seemingly–perfect life of a prison inmate, Gerald “Stone“ Creeson (Jovovich). As the investigation progresses, the two men come to the realization that Stone has a mysterious and complex past. The film was released in the United States on October 8, 2010.
