“Taken 2” is an action-thriller film released in 2012, and is a sequel to the 2008 film “Taken”. The film continues the story of former CIA operative Bryan Mills, played by Liam Neeson, as he and his family are targeted by revenge-seeking criminals.
The film also stars Maggie Grace as Bryan’s daughter, Kim, and Famke Janssen as his ex-wife, Lenore. The film is directed by Olivier Megaton.
The plot of “Taken 2” revolves around Bryan and his family traveling to Istanbul, Turkey, where they are kidnapped by the father of one of the kidnappers Bryan killed in the previous film. Bryan is once again forced to use his skills to rescue himself and his family.
“Taken 2” received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising Neeson’s performance and the action sequences, while others criticized the predictable plot and lack of character development. However, the film was a commercial success, grossing over $376 million worldwide.
