“The Contractor” is an upcoming American action thriller film directed by Tarik Saleh and starring Gerard Butler, Frank Grillo, and Alexis Louder.
The story follows a former special forces operative (played by Gerard Butler) who is forced out of retirement when his daughter is kidnapped by a ruthless criminal (played by Frank Grillo). As he races against time to save his daughter, the operative must confront his own past and the people he once worked for, as he uncovers a web of corruption and betrayal that threatens to consume him and his family.
In addition to Butler and Grillo, “The Contractor” also stars Alexis Louder as the operative’s daughter, and includes supporting performances from Willem Dafoe, Dakota Johnson, and Toby Huss.
“The Contractor” is set to be released in 2022 and is expected to offer a mix of intense action, suspense, and emotional drama. The film is directed by Tarik Saleh, who previously directed the critically acclaimed thriller “The Nile Hilton Incident,” and is written by Robert Mark Kamen, whose previous credits include “The Transporter” and “Taken.”
