“The Outfit” is an upcoming action thriller film directed by Graham Moore and starring Mark Wahlberg, Dylan O’Brien, and Zoey Deutch. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Richard Stark (the pseudonym of author Donald E. Westlake) and follows the story of a career criminal named Parker who seeks revenge against a powerful crime syndicate known as “The Outfit” after they try to kill him.
Wahlberg plays Parker, who joins forces with a young thief named Macklin (O’Brien) and a professional thief named Claire (Deutch) to take down The Outfit. As they execute a series of heists and evade the syndicate’s ruthless enforcers, the trio faces increasingly dangerous situations that threaten to derail their plan.
“The Outfit” is set to be released in 2022 and is expected to offer a blend of action, suspense, and noir-style storytelling. The film marks the directorial debut of Moore, who previously won an Academy Award for his screenplay for “The Imitation Game.”
