The Ultimate Gift is a 2006 American drama film directed by Michael O. Sajbel and starring Drew Fuller, Abigail Breslin, James Garner, Bill Cobbs, and Brian Dennehy. The film is based on the best–selling novel of the same name by Jim Stovall. It tells the story of Jason Stevens (Fuller), a young man who learns what it means to be truly rich after his wealthy grandfather (Garner) passes away and assigns him twelve tasks, or gifts, to complete over the course of a year in order to earn his inheritance. Along the way, Jason discovers that the greatest gift of all is learning to appreciate the little things in life.
