The plot of the 2010 romantic comedy You Again revolves around Marni (Kristen Bell), who is shocked to discover that her brother is engaged to the same girl who bullied her in high school. Marni goes on a mission to stop the wedding and prove to her family that the intended bride, Joanna (Odette Annable), is not who she appears to be. Along the way, Marni discovers that Joanna‘s aunt, Ramona (Sigourney Weaver), was also her high school bully. The story follows Marni as she attempts to prove to her family that Joanna is not good enough for her brother, while also trying to come to terms with her own past. As the wedding approaches, Marni must find a way to finally put her past behind her and make peace with her family and herself.
