Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger is a 2010 romantic comedy–drama film written and directed by Woody Allen. The film tells the story of two married couples, Alfie (Anthony Hopkins) and Helena (Gemma Jones), and their daughter Sally (Naomi Watts), who find their lives upturned by the arrival of mysterious strangers. Alfie‘s philandering ways cause Helena to fall for a mysterious stranger, while Sally finds herself attracted to her boss, Greg (Josh Brolin). Alfie‘s old flame, Charmaine (Freida Pinto), meanwhile, is in a relationship with a real–estate tycoon (Antonio Banderas). The film received generally positive reviews from critics, who praised it for its humor and dialogue.
